tank for cb175

does anybody know if a toaster tank fron a cb 160 will fit a cb175 with a vertical frame ( 71 mod ).
if not what other options are there cb72/77???
i love the look of these tanks and would love to fit one if possible.

Hmmm.. I cant picture the frame when you say "Verticle frame" mod... COuld you post a pic?

Unless someone else has already done this and can tell what's involved, you're on your own. I modified a CB77 tank to fit a CB350 frame and had to a bit of surgery.

I widened and deepened the tunnel so it would fit over the top of the frame. Cut and welded sections of the bottom rear. It looks good on the 350 but yes, it may be a bit large for the 175.

thats what i thought. i think the 160 tank might be a better size??? only problem is you dont see many of them in oz.
that hadoka tank is hot, love it!!!
it was a 500t with black bomber tank that got me into the cafe look, saw it in motorcycle mechanics magazine from the UK.
