TARNATION! I need a GT750 Suzuki front axle!

Mine somehow got cross threaded. Long story. I need one.

Ideally the one for the drum front brake, to replace the one I messed up. But, I think I can make a later GT750 front axle work if it comes with the spacers.

Let me know! Bike is off the road till I get one.

Oh there are backup plans - axles on eBay too.

For tonight I'm going to chase the threads on the axle/nut provided I have the right tap/dies. Hard to explain, but the nut on the axle doesn't have to be super tight.

What year is it from (or more specifically, Drum or Disc)? If from a disc brake model I wouldn't mind having a look at it to confirm if I can make one of those more common axles work. I got the wheel back on and am confident it isn't going anywhere, but I do want to replace it and am working on some eBay items.

It's the 4LS drum.

OK - I might hit you up for it if things loosen up on me. I'm actually thinking the later model axle might work better for me. I'll have to take a pic of how I've got it working in my XS650 forks.

Were the GT750 front ends 37mm?
