Vintage/classic vehicle titling is a NIGHTMARE in NC.

There's something pretty relevant that I forgot to mention. Georgia and SC are much easier to deal with in that respect. I'm not familiar with TN laws.

I did some comparisons online with cost of living. Waynesville is just about the same as where I live now. There are some really cool little 1,000 square foot houses for decent prices, as long as I can put up a two car garage i'm good lol. The other places listed on a previous post were higher. I still have more research to do, but that's ok. I've got at least a year.

Excellent! There are several coming from Ohio, so you can hook up if you wish. If you stay Sat & Sun ride routes will touch NC, GA, SC, and TN.

Awesome... I have classes during that time, but if there's enough time between the days of the week (and I have a more reliable bike by then) and I can afford to escape work (no paid vacation) I will definitely come!

Sorry guys, been a while. Still planning to move your way though. I'll probably PM a couple of you with some questions if that's ok. I wanted to ask first and not freak you out. I'm thinking of coming down for a few days in December on my winter break just to poke around, check out the winter climate etc. I definitely want to ride down next summer and spend a week hanging out, scoping out neighborhoods and towns, and talking to some realtors. I have to save for another year before I can afford to move as I have a bedroom set and a garage full of stuff but that's about it. But i'm going to make it happen.

So let me know if anyone is willing to play 20 questions with me over PM lol
