The right tool for the job makes life a lot easier. Cam chain master links take 3 minutes with the right tool. Rich, thanks again!

Also: what kind of incredible P.O. dickhead strips not one, but *6* of the bolts that hold two cam covers on? I'm going to be helicoil'ing all freaking day.

No problem at all B! I take it that broken pin still worked out for ya?

Bummer about the broken bolts too. We will still be expecting a running video by Monday morning.......no mercy!

The broken pin is the extractor pin. I needed the rivet pin, which worked just fine.

I'm not going to put the engine in until I fix the cam covers - you can't really mess with these in the frame so well. It's a huge PITA.
