You know how it is. You accumulate a few parts that don't get used, or get superseded. You're sittin' on your wheelie stool coolin' down. And you start to wonder...

Well this is what I've come up with so far. Be warned, however, this is my 'B' project, and it is unlikely to be updated until 'A'(http://www.dotheton.com/forum/index.php?topic=13334.0) is buttoned-up.

Forks and calipers are off a CBR600F2 and fitted with the 400 stem. Bearings to fit the 600 axle pressed into the 400 hub. Grabbed a handful of spacers to centre the wheel. The disks were giving me a headache until I had the idea of trying a couple of 900F disks. I think I'll be able to make this work. I need a spacer each side 7mm thick, with a centre boss to locate the disk. There's room for that because the 900 centre is larger than the 400. Then I just weld up the rotor bolt holes, and drill the 4-bolt pattern of the hub.

I'll take my MDF-patterns to a shop and see if they'll turn them out for me.

I'm hopeful it will be OK.

Well, time to get moving on this old girl again.

Change of plans, as usual. I've got a pair of floating disks of a fireblade that I want to use now. They're a bit larger, and look way cooler.

I've had my brother turn up some spacers from aluminium, and they work a treat. I haven't got a pic of them uninstalled, but can probably take one later.

Ignore the bent rim, I'll be replacing that later, but here's a moving picture just because I can:
