The $50 CM400T

So I just picked up this bike on Friday, a friend of mine got a really good job and is now looking for a much newer, nicer bike to commute on. This bike, between my friend and his brother, has been through hell. The bike has been laid down once or twice,

BUT, he only wanted $50 for it and it runs pretty well as it is. Plus, he has a title for it, which is always a good thing to have.

So this is the way it sits right now:

I have a ton of plans for it and can't wait to start tearing shit off of it!
 
Shit you got a titled running bike for $50? Where are all these kind people and good deals? If it weren't for the weather and beaches and roads I'd move out of California

Running is always a good start, interested to see what you do with it!
 
Thanks! The only real problems riding it are the clutch, which is slipping, and the fact that the clutch lever was broken off. I bought a new clutch lever and fixed it at his house, then promptly rode the bike ~30 miles to hang out with some friends. I ended up riding it about 400 miles this weekend and never had a single problem
 
Yeah that's the plan so far, I don't exactly plan on going strictly cafe with it though. I have a bunch of crazy ideas about it and I'm sort of just going to do whatever I want with each individual part and see how it turns out haha
