So I have spent the last week trying to replace the bearings in the rear wheel. The retainer ring that sits atop of the bearing is the biggest pain in the ass. Honda no longer makes a spanner to get this off. For everyones knowledge it is REVERSE THREADED! I actually found countless references to this being normal thread direction.
So, work done so far....
New controls and clip ons
New wiring harness that allows for A lithium battery built by Sonreir! Woot!!
New bearings
Rebuilt the carbs
tank is off getting bathed in acid as we speak
