Hi all,

Sharing the pictures from the Ducati 750SS I built as a Cafe...

In the next projects I l'll have (such as the Guzzi that I already started) I'll post updates once done... and not just once finished... just became active here ;)

The Ducati was bought to be used for a daily use, meaning that all the work I do on it must be quite quick so I won't be stuck without 2 wheels to get from point A to point B to... that's also the reason why I didn't frame-offed it... :)

So......

That's how it started:

Few days later, I bought the original parts of the bike, the SS fairing etc. just to find out that I don't want it original, I want it to be a Cafe racer..

Time to say goodbye to about million cable ties... as well as the plastic/fiber parts

Looks better already ;D

Took the tank off.... in order to paint it

Removing the tank cap bots wasn't an easy task... had to beg for them (and use special tools...) to get them out

Bought a headlight from "CORSE DYNAMICS" that actually fits a Ducati Monstar but also fits the mounting of the SS

I used the rubber inserts from a Ducati Darmah, to be used as the seat mounting bracket

For turn signal bracket, I used a 90 degrees angle that I use at home for furniture... made a larger hole that will fit the turn signals

As it's for a daily use... while the seat was being painted, I wanted to ride the bike so I just mounted the seat as is... :)

Note the end of the frame... a bit different to fit the cafe seat ;)

Note the cutting of the fender, compared to the original shape in the first pictures

Nice job, especially since you kept it to quick direct portions and kept riding it! It looks great!

Hey is that a Chevy Corvair Monza in the background of some of those pics? My dad used to have one back in the day...
