I am trying to figure out the wiring diagram for my CB750F-D. I’m almost there, but there is one little mystery left; a brown wire running from the LH bar controls connector. It does not seem to be connected to anything as there are seven wires going into the harness side of the connection but only six going out to the controls. I checked using my multimeter and there is no contact between the brown and any other wires.
Anyone got an explanation?
Thanks for the reply, Sonreir.
Yes, the wire will have voltage on it but it's not going anywhere.
So the question still is why has Honda put in a wire that seems to have no purpose?
It would be on there for another countries regulations. More than likely for park and tail light permanently on.
There would be no point making different harnesses for different countries so 1 was made to accommodate all options.
