LMAO, too funny. Just make sure you scuff up that chrome on the tank good first or the flat black won't stick.

Indeed... It is actually a 1966 A65 Lightining, (according to the VIN#), but the paperwork shows 1968. Apparently, the year that its on the ownership is the year that it was sold and first registered.

I also have an original BSA Fiberglass single cafe racer seat!!...
honestly, Im not going to butcher or paint anything on this bike...Im gonna keep this baby all stock... Even the rear fender.
OK...Mabe clip-ons though..

Nice find there Noel. Please do try to keep it as close to stock as you can, they are not as easy to come by as they used to be. I had one way back when we could still get them new, a 68 lightning. It was a good bike, but if memory serves me well, it was slower and didn't handle as well as my Triumph. Still, be good to it and have fun. John.
