Alright group, first off let me say I've spent a couple of days just browsing an am very impressed with everybody's motivation an hard work. Just picked up a '75 cb750 a couple months ago an this is what it looked like. Since then I slapped on some clubman handlebars, a 4 into 2 exhaust I got off ebay for about $60 an been working on gettin her ready for paint. I got plenty of ideas in mind an will keep you all updated. till then, later!

Welcome from someone even FURTHER north (and nowhere nea texas) ;D

Looks like a nice bike.

Good luck with it all!

very nice start, but I de believe there is a honda trend going on here. We are going to have to get a little more balance I have net seen many zooks lately or for that matter very many old italian at all? ducks and guzzi's lend them selves very nicely to the cafe style. most are there already.

Welcome and thanks for the picture

I agree, but it is alot easier an cheaper to get ahold of a honda than an Italian or Brit bike.

Out in the West Texas town of El Paso
I fell in love with a Mexican girl.
Night-time would find me in Rosa's cantina
Music would play and Felina would whirl.

Welcome! Have you been down to Marfa to see the Marfa Lights?

I bet the weather is better there than it is here in Seattle today. Although the next couple days we should see some nice riding weather.

been to Marfa but haven't seen the lights. unfortunatly the weather is really windy right now with sand and tumble weeds(yes just like in the movies lol) blowing everywhere. should clear up by the weekend to get some good riding in. never been to Seatle but always wanted to go. later

Howdy, I was stationed at Holloman AFB for two years, so I passed through El Paso many, many times. Jaurez was a pretty frequent trip!
Your CB is looking good.

J Town huh? lol yeah that's a crazy place lots of partying there!

We are going to Ruidoso, NM for Christmas next year. Ever been there? My wife is from Texas and all her family is skattered about. Lubbock, Sweetwater, FT Worth, etc, etc. So we are meeting in NM for the holidays. I guess we will be skiing. I find it very strange to think of New Mexico and Skiing, but I guess they have some nice places.

Yeah Ruidoso's pretty nice! They hold a bike run around there about twice a year that gets pretty good. As far as sking, I'm not much of a skier but went snow boarding last year for the first time an had a pretty good time falling on my ass all day.lol I"m sure your family will enjoy it. Where you from?

Oh, been checking out your bike. I've seen pics of it somewhere else but can't remember. NICE!

I am from Seattle. Born and raised. My wife moved from Fort Worth around 1988. We have friends in Houston. Spent time in Austin as well. I love Texas. I have flown into El Paso on a Southwest flight to Austin. Didn't even get off the plane though.

I have pics on other posts here, and Bengi at BCR has pics too. That is where I bought my seat. He has an area on his site where he post customer bikes.

Ruidoso is really pretty, and so is Cloudcroft. Those were two of my favorite riding spots when I was at Holloman.
