Hey, can anyone clarify. one of my guys called pumpkin to see if we needed to reserve and was told it's sold out. Is that because of us? We will still have space? If there's any hostle beds, we'll buy in. I just called and mentioned DTT and the fellow said we can at least camp. Let me know please.

Yes, it's under my name (Michael Schl......). I am going to verify our reservation today.

Also, for those of you in tents, I think Jody said there are camping sites around the hostel. So if you want to set up you tent early, tell them you are with the group in the hostel. Of course you can camp wherever you want, but I'm guessing that's where most of us will be hanging out. I'm not really sure how the place is laid out. I think there is a big fire pit and creek there.
 
If anyone is coming through Knoxville on the way to the Dragon, drop of a set of CB350 carbs at work so I can join you! I can't keep it running. Finally got a new battery and brakes, now I need fuel, blast it!

Damn every last one of you lucky bastardos for going on this trip... im am writing off cafe racers for good now. That's it! I am ending my membership here and will join/exclusivly post only at caferacer.net! The only way you can keep me from committing this sin is to drink copious ammounts of beer around the bonfire, ride like you stole it all day long, educate the masses about caf coolness, and take loads of pictures of the weekend, then post them back here as soon as the trip is over!

Have fun guys, wish I could be there for it, hope ill see some of you at barber!
 
I'm jealous as all heck guys. Make sure you get a massive group shot on the Dragon - find Killboy or another photog and show off your DTT patches!

Looking forward to seeing pics and seeing as many of you as possible at Barber in October.

I did run the Dragon 2 weeks ago while in nearby Bryson City (check that place out, if you can). I had too many wheels, but hopefully this will whet your appetites...

+1 - Im in TN so I dunno what area my patch would be, but if anyone has Any DTT standard/regular style patches and/or stickers, please bring me one to put on the bike or helmet or whatever so i can help represent this place/the scene. Thanks, looking forward to seeing you bishes soon. ;D

Getting ready to head out on my long shakedown ride (40 miles). I hope all goes well. Also mapping out my ride to the GTG. 1.5 hours of it will be on the Blue Ridge Parkway! :)

yeah too bad the speed limit is 30-35 on it...either way, im super jealous that you can ride your bike that long of a distance.. I cant stand to be on mine more than 30 minutes
