Wow, 21 pages of VDUBs! And not one Eurovan? I had an 02 silver Weekender. Great for camping and hauling stuff. It holds a ton of stuff, even put in a 76 Goldwing. Flat 8 ft long floor, folding table, seats 7 easy, and back seat folds in to a full bed! Added a hitch to tow a trailer, made a great towing rig.

I had a few Vdubs before getting into Bimmers.
86 white MK2 GTi, first German car. Love the feel! Lasted 140k.
88 red MK2 GLi, winter ride while I had an 81 Porsche 911sc.
97 black MK3 Golf, lower springs and shocks, exhaust, intake, 17" rims. first one to mod.
02 silver Eurovan WE, very practical.
07 black MKV Rabbit, 17" rims. Fav VW, handled the best of all to date, tho I never had a MK4. Wish I had the GTi. Sold to get an 04 BMW 330i ZHP, my current driver.

The last Vdub show I went to was in 1982. "The Bug In" at Orange County International Raceway in South Orange County CA. My Scirroco won best water cooled.

Here's a few pictures of my Scirocco these days. Spent most of the summer stripping it down, doing bodywork and it got resprayed this fall. Brand new custom made headliner is installed and hopefully should be back together and running for Cincy next summer.

I really love the fact that the Scirocco had a full detrim before being painted. I watch to many of these cars being taped off and sprayed and it kills me.

It's been a while since I have posted. Got married and another car (purple beetle) and bike (ninja 250) came with her. Just picked up the jetta a few weeks ago.

Love that there's plenty of VW people here... I've got myself a MKVI GTI now, but I'm also trying to sell a 2008 Beetle...so I guess I own 2 VWs currently.
