lol the wifes car is an 05 focus wagon. atleast you have alloy wheels.
at the time we had a choice between the focus, the lancer wagon that they made for like a year, or the uber pricey subaru's. it gets you the capabilities of a minivan without quite commiting to full on goober status.
i dunno how it is where you are but we get harassed all the time about trading it in because they want them for fleet cars.

I haven't been harassed about trading it in...harassed in general though! I picked this up last year after my truck decided to break down (again). I got tired of fixing the truck so I went after something that was cheap, low miles, got good mileage, and could haul motorcycle parts and RC planes. It's not cool, but it does exactly what I need a car to do.
I do more miles on two wheels than four every year anyway.
