did you get the seat ever?
overdraft said:i got a seat that looked just like that from either airtech or glass from the past (can't remember which!) and not to threadjack too much, but how the hell do you upholster these things? what's with those stupid ridges? seems like they'd just make upholstering a pain and for what purpose?

But, we do pay taxes, 1. 2. Laminate bulker is an aircraft grade reinforcement (I've a little experience in aviation). Put simply, it makes the seat stronger, if anyone else says otherwise, they are wrong.
The reason we can sell so cheap? We buy extremely large quantities, and it's a two man operation. I hand lay each and every seat myself (Little over 300 in the last few months). You can read through my feedback on eBay, have not had a single one complain about quality. Roccity actually bought one, had no complaints about it as far as I heard.
Also, if anyone has purchased a seat, and haven't put a cover on it, we've finally gotten around to sewing up some seat covers.
I appreciate all you guys who have bought seats, thanks!

J-Rod10 said:Bulker is considerably stronger than just glass when layered properly. At 2mm thick, it is actually lighter than the amount of glass and resin it would take to build up to that thickness, while in effect using less resin. There's a reason it's used in aircraft. But, it's shatter resistant, and offers thread retention, and also decreases the chance of stress cracks in the gelcoat.
I have sold a few to guys with 450's. Have not had any complaints on them. I assume the rear hoop on the frame would have to go and be replaced with a loopCB450_Lor said:Has anyone ever bought this seat pan for a cb 450 k6? If so, how do they fit? Any frame chopping involved? i'd measure my own frame but i dont have my bike here at home atm. :/
