Just picked up a set of virtually brand new dual sport tires from forum member eyhonda, and I couldn't be happier. They are the IRC GP-1 Dual Sport tires. Not a super high-end tire, but for the price he gave me ($80 shipped), I really can't complain. I was concerned about them being too narrow at 3.5" (rear) and 3" (front) but they look great (IMO), and lean very well on pavement. I am going to give them their first dirt test tonight.

REALLY happy with how they look.

P.S. EYHONDA is a great seller. Great communication and fast shipping.

Looks good man! I have been debating on what to put on my kz440. I will have to try out the IRC's. Thanks for posting!

Honestly, I didn't do much brand research prior to purchasing because I didn't want to spend a bunch of money on them. However I did research them after I found these, and liked what I read about them.

Looks great, nice bike.
Quick question treitz, that looks like your original front fender?
I have a 74 KZ400 and am wondering what width I can get away with and keep the front fender untouched, I've shortened it quite a bit but it still attaches the same and has the same clearance. It doesn't look like a kz front fender will take anything much larger than a 3" tire. Although, if I'm remembering right it's a 4x18 on the rear now, and a 3.5x18 on the front, that's factory still.
