Throttle Assembly

What style throttle cable for this fitting ?
Every 2 into 1 cable I purchase end is not correct

Looks like it would be just a cable with a barrel on the end seeing as there is no threading on the interior....

That's what I was fig but how do adjust throttle cable tighten and loosen or that don't matter with the mikuni vm30 carbs

What you have circled is a throttle cable barrel adjuster and lock nut, haven't seen your carb but is there not a similar barrel adjuster at that end?


Just googled VM30 and there is a barrel adjuster where the cable fits to the carb.

Ok so adjuster not needed on handlebar throttle assembly? Vm30 carbs have it on the other end?

What you have circled is the adjuster and locknut

I just got over this hurdle after not having anything to go off of. I ended up buying a DIY kit that came with the throttle cables, fittings, and housing so I knew they'd all fit together. Then I married that up with the 2-1 that came with my mikunis. I think its a bit more money but it saves the headache. I found the housing, sleeve, push/pull cables, hardware, all in the same kit on amazon for 40$

I second that request for a picture.. I don't have a 2-in-1 cable but I will probably have to purchase that DIY kit you bought off of amazon for my throttle housing as well and am wondering how you did it.
