Throttle Cable Diva

Throttle and grip finally came in the mail. It was beautiful. Went perfectly with the look of the bike. It was all great until I realized my big mistake - throttles are more specific to each bike than I thought.

Okay, so I kinda knew this going in but I didn't think it went to this extent to where I may be SOL. I have the original throttle cable. Unfortunately the "boot" L shaped part at the end that fits into the original housing is semi broken. I was under the impression that finding a cable to fit a "universal" throttle would be fairly easy. And the original cable is nothing too wild.

Now I'm left with the problem of finding a cable, or customizing my original cable end, for the new throttle.

Any suggestions?

What bike is it? You should start one solid build thread and keep all the questions there. You're more likely to get answers that way and it's a good way to keep all the info in one easy to access spot.
