Thursday Ride! (philly)

Came home, started the Norton up, psyched about getting out in the nice weather and meeting up with everyone on the Thursday ride, and while warming up, it stalled out...f**ked with it for about a half hour, realized I wasn't getting any power...checked fuse...blown fuse...replaced fuse...nada. Jiggled fuse assembly, and got disco lights...something wrong with the fuse assembly. I f**king hate Brit bikes...about as much as I f**king love them.

Long story longer...no ride for me.

Don't get too fustrated. My tale of woe probably includes more disappointment of time and money lost than yours. Are you going sunday to Germantown?

Yea, really good to meet you guys I am so impressed with the turnout, good work. I made it about 1/3 of the way down Kelly and then she just shut off on me....luckily there was no traffic behind me and a pull-off to the right that I was able to coast into. Took about 10 minutes to get it back running. Im chalking it up to poor venting of my gas tank, seems like when I really shit-n-git the gas supply cant keep up and runs out. Between that, the jetting issue, and a "need to adjust" clutch I guess I was asking for it. Alas, it was a blast while it lasted and I'm looking forward to next week! Thanks for the warm welcome.

Yeah, I'm much better this morning. I'm gonna replace the inline glass fuse with a blade type tonight. I am heading to Germantown on Sunday. What time are you heading out?

Yeah, you need to get your own skeletool, mine stinks like gas...real bad, like people asked me at work why I smelled of petrol. And yes the tip of my phone somehow melted on your side cover, haha. Next time will be better, hey it was still fun though!

I'm heading out very early with a friend in a van to show a bike. We should be threre by opening time 10 am. I usually roll out early from the event to avoid traffic. PM me your # if you want to meet up.

I had an awesome time, riding with huge lightning bolts overhead w/ no rain....that is no rain until we headed for the stables, haha. I'm thinking Thursday is going to become my new favorite day of the week.

Just got my '72 Yamaha r5 back on the road. Must come out with my friend who has a '71 r5 to hit the thurs night ride. Aiming for next week.
