tickets on record

Anyone know of a way to figure out how many tickets are still on your driving record when it's time to go to for insurance? Let's say I have a vague idea, but don't want to go insuring now if two are going to drop off by spring.

Hey Lee,
You can call the MTO, and find out what your record is.
I'll look for the exact phone number and post it tomorrow

I ask my insurance broker... she's independant so she doesn't care if they're on there, and won't gouge me after they go off (I got a speeding ticket last year and my insurance went DOWN by $100)

I thought you had to BUY a Driver's abstract, or whatever their called.

How many years do tickets stay on your record? 3 years?

Just go to a MTO Kiosk and spend the $15 or whatever it costs. I've lost track of my own. Might have to do this myself soon.

Tickets stay on for 2 years, accidents for 7

Thanks for the feedback, guys. As I'm not a naturally trusting man, guess I'll be off to the Ministry. Heigh-hoh, heigh-hoh...

crap.. sorry man.. I forgot to post the number:

Call the ministry of transport at: 416-235-1086
They can give you a verbal confirmation of the status of your drivers license record.

This might save you a trip...
