Timber and bikes

Just thought I would throw a question out there and see what comes back

Before I started tinkering with bikes, I did a bit of work with wood / timber; woodturning, and furniture restorations

The question is- has anyone used timber inserts, highlights or wood in any of their builds?
I wont be in my current build, as I am looking for a resto, but I think a 'woody' style bike would look pretty nice
