TLS F/R shoe recommendations?

Scruffy

West Tennessee
1963 250 Scrambler. Honda 18" wheel rear TLS conversion from sometime in the 1970s (at least 2 owners ago)... Front 19" wheel/brake will be 500 Titan to replace a standard 19" sls front wheel. Current tires are Goodyears from the 1970s, 4.00-19F and 4.50-18R, no idea how the previous owner shoehorned them into place with such a tight fork and swingarm...

Intended use is 70-80% offroad/dirt track. Going with a 3.00-19F, 3.50-18R tire size. Brand not decided on yet, but mid-grade.

Maker and compound recommendations please. Fairly heavy bike, 230 pound rider.

And where can I get a replacement speedometer drive gear for the Titan wheel? The one that goes in the brake plate and actually turns the cable... Amazing what disappears over the years.

Rear wheel is a CB77. Titan front wheel fits like it was made for the CL, brake stay will bolt right to a fender mounting lug.

Wheel that came with the bike is a 19" sls with decent shoes and a 1.60 d.i.d. with the outer edge ridges (crusty looking chrome). Brake stay is a slot and tab (Betor/Ceriani style). A friend who vintage races swears I have a set of Ceriani racing forks to go with the rebuildable Ceriani shocks the project (heap) came with...

I'm leaning toward that Vintage Brakes retailer... haven't used his stuff but have read a bunch of glowing reviews on some of the racing boards.

I wonder what other old tricks will turn up next... CB77 rear wheel/brakes (TLS right side drive, did not take much hunting to identify), Ceriani suspension front and rear, CB77 carb set, CB 77 Rocky/Nempco headers and mini mufflers... somebody spent a ton of dough on this thing to just set it aside and let it rot... it literally has maybe 20 hours on the engine (that seized up from sitting, it would kick through when I first got it in 2007).
