Today I learned...

Some horrible news about a chick named Karla Munoz affiliated with BA moto in long beach. She got into horrible wreck on the 55 freeway which ended her life about midnight. Sucks man. I met her a couple times but she was such a hot, bad ass, punk rock chick. She went down on her CB. Condolences to BOTH her name family and the BA moto family. :'(
Learning that Shit can happen real quick.

Damn^^^thats horrible^^^
Today I learned patience is a virtue.... on the road and in life....(end of 3 month trade)

Ask and ye shall receive...

And, like Hoof, I use cheap ass HF safety wire pliers.

The next lesson to be learned is to fold over those pig tails or else you will bleed all over the bike after you stick yourself. And you will learn that a tiny little hole that you life fluid is leaking out of creates a pain out of all proportion to its size.

Just sayin'

Do fold them over. For some reason a dykes leaves an edge sharper than anything else known to man. I probably spend aas much time tucking them out of the way as I do wiring.

TIL even though my boots look great and are generally weather resistant, doing 80 mph in the rain will soak my socks.

TIL that leaving a hot solder iron on the ground and wearing no shoes in the workshop is a great way to brand the soles of your feet.

TIL a big tank bag should be adjusted before making a 35 mile run into work. And big tank bags let you lean on them so there's less pressure on your wrists when riding in stop and go traffic.

TIL:
If your fuel filter is touching the cylinder fins the filter can melt. Replaced filters and line with smaller filters and shorter fuel line.

TIL no matter how much effort you put into it, some relationships just can't be saved.

TIL that I was not cut out to be a delivery driver. I really wish they had not canned our back up guy so that I didn't have to leave the parts counter.
