Thurday night, Scratch, Rukus and I met Saucer on Eastern Ave.
While we were on the parking lot, someone drove up and pulled over and came up to us and introduced himself as one of the guys who is starting up a chapter of the Ton-Up club called: Ton-UP Toronto and asked if we were interested in joing up.
Thats all I know...
YOu should join up. I'm sure they could use a poster girl...or a mascot!! ;D

Hello all,
We have a good group of guys up here in T.O. who are working to create a half decent vintage bike scene. Some of us race on the vintage circuit, one owns the only vintage brit bike shop in the city but we all share the common interest of getting things going up here. We have put on some events over the past two years and are looking to officially form a Toronto Ton Up chapter. I teach at a local riding school and have seen a steady increase in the number of students I get interested in the vintage scene so, we have a lot of potential. Right now we have 8 blokes and two gals who are committed to this (I can provide a formal list with pics). So my question is, where do we go from here? Thanks for your time.
FooFoo said:I remember that thread. It's over a month old. Members also told him what he needed to do be considered for him and his mates to be a chapter. If they do that, they will be voted on. After that, they may be a chapter. They may have the right stuff to be a chapter but they will have to prove it.
As far as I know, no Toronto TUC chapter.
I came across some TUC Chicago at Mid Ohio. After encountering them and observing I see why there's a HalfFast now. Not saying anything bad about them but I can see why there was a split I'm over on the forum now and again . Certainly a different vibe . Good group of guys at HalfFast.ProTeal55 said:Thanks for the kind words Noel.
I was indeed a member of the Chicago chapter of the TUC, and for reason's that don't need to be brought up myself, along with 4 other members decided to leave and start up Half Fast Chicago ---> http://www.halffastchicago.com & http://www.myspace.com/halffastchicago
Half Fast is not bike/car/model/brand specific. We have mebers with everything from Ducati monsters, VM powered dune buggy's, classic cars, Classic Vespas, jockey shifte'd triumphs, and everything in between. As long as you are a stand up guy(or gal) and you like to ride you are cool with us. We don't have time to deal with guys who spend more time washing their bike then they do riding..
If anyone has any questions about the club, please feel free to shoot me an email @ Saytin72@aol.com
Thanks,

Always good to hear positive words about the club.
Not that we hear anything negative, but the "big split" from TUC will def. haunt us for the rest of our days.
The club (half fast) is def. looking to branch out to other states (and countries ;D) as it see's fit. As I was telling Noel eariler, I dont want to branch out the club just to do so. If a bunch of guys want to get a chapter started in their area I am def. more than ears to hear what they want to do..
