Why be skeptical? If you have a "novelty" head this is the helmet for you. Perfect for posing but if you value the mush between your ears get a real helmet.

No argument, like I said I could give a rats ass if you wear a glass bowl on your head covered in tin foil for better reception. I'm just asking for personal responsibility when making those decisions.

you're better off investing in a reputable helmet brand. Check out Motorcycle USA, I remember seeing a leather covered half helmet, DOT approved, for around $100
