"Tri-zuki" tank

This is the series of pictures I took of my faux Triumph tank complete with Triumph badges that now say Suzuki for my 2012tu250. I had to use another TU250 tank because the fuel pump is mounted inside the tank.

I used a tank from a 2009 TU250 but my 2012 TU250 cafe is the last picture in the series.

I know this sounds silly but I hammered knee dents in the tank after watching this youtube video:

I think it turned out well. This is a rattlecan rustoleum paint job.

I have the tank polished even better now these pictures are from last week

The paint falls right off you barely have to touch it, it is call Kleen Strip at Home Depot.

Also, I did the entire tank by hand and this is the best compound I have ever used. The picture on the bottle is true, it takes half the labor, 2x the shine and looks so deep.

Here are the matched seat pan and windscreen. Some small details still need to be done but I should have them on the bike next week
