Been Around the Block
Who's down for some Mexican?!

I've been wanting to set up a new bike nite in the west end since there's not much goin on here (and nothing goin on on tuesdays). SO, starting next tuesday, dinner time 8pm onwards, we are gonna hold it down at Burrito Boyz for THE BEST Burrito's and Quesadillas ever made in ontario, actually THE BEST in Canada imho! no joke! for those that have gone to the one on richmond street or adelaide (which has received awesome reviews), you know exactly what i'm talking 'bout! and they're cheap too!

Everyone's welcome, come after work, shoot down mississauga road for some nice twisties, take a walk along port credit, and enjoy your burrrrrito! there's also an ice cream joint around the corner too.

I've talked to the owner and he's more than excited to have us over (this location just opened). there's parking on both sides of the street and they have a small lot next to them (just need kickstand pucks for the gravel)

Stavebank is just east of the bridge/light house in port credit, can't miss it. There's lot's to see and do in the area and the lake brings a nice cool breeze for those hot summer nights.

hopefully we can make this into a regular thing.

se ya'll next tuesday! please post up if you're coming so i can give the owners an idea for numbers.

There are 2 or 3 of us in Oakville & Burlington that are interested in coming but we are not sure if we can make it tomorrow.

kg

no worries kg, we'll be there all summer long. thanks for sharing your interest, looking forward to seeing more westenders out too!

well, we had an awesome turn out tonight! close to 20 bikes when i got there, but missed a few. i'm glad everyone enjoyed their burritos. we had 5 cafe/oldschool bikes, inluding 2 beautiful R60/75's? and a sweet CB750, thanks for the extra tips guys. always a pleasure meeting new faces.

that's what i forgot, a camera! there was a guy on this forum that showed, i think with the old CB 750. tintin would've loved the beemers, both mint.

We will try make it next week with the beemers and there might be one more. The black one was mine a 1973 R60/5 Toaster Tank long wheel base and my buddies was a 1973 R75/5 Toaster Tank short wheel base in what was known as Curry colour.
