Turn signals don't blink

Need some help!

I replaced the stock turn signals for bullet style ones and they no longer blink. I hear the relay click once when I turn the switch to either side, ad the lights come on but don't blink.

My relay seemed to work fine last fall with the OEM signals. Any idea what it could be? Could my relay be shot, or does it need to match the size / resistance of the bulbs to work correctly?

Are you 100% sure all the lights are grounded properly?

Would they still light up if they weren't? The rear ones go into the ground of the wiring harness, but the front ones are grounded on the headlight ears. The stock signals on my CB175 only had one wire, so I assumed they grounded against the ears as well...

I'll experiment grounding them elsewhere to see if that helps...

Thanks!

Signal lights and flashers are odd beasts. At one point I had 4 way flashers on mine.

Try plugging in the old lights and see if they work, and also you might try swapping out the flasher relay with a new electronic model. How many pins? I use a new 2 pin electronic relay from the auto parts bin. Just a standard 2 pin 12v electronic flasher. No warming up nonsense - just works.

Tim's got it. Just head over to the auto parts store and grab an electronic flasher. I had to do the same thing when i changed out my stock turn signals. The only problem is that for my bike it will only flash at 2500rpm+
There are two types that i tried, 2 prong and 3 prong. The 3 prong worked, but it was trial and error figuring out which prongs were supposed to be connected :) The two prong did nothing.

Thanks for the help! Got a 3$ 2 prong relay from Crappy Tire and everything works great! I guess my relay was on it's way out.

Beats clicking them on and off with my thumb!!
