D'ya know,i just joined this club/forum tonight and i found the uk page pretty quickly without realy searching for it,so it's not hard to find.
P.S whats the cafe moto badge about ?

Short version - [Cafe-Moto ]

In the 80's early 90's I was into manufacturing replica Sports cars - but bikes have always been my hobby / passion. I was also involved with the import / sales of American Speed Euipment, Muscle Cars and Rods. There seemed to be a demand for Sixties styled bikes, Rods, cars etc. so Cafe-Moto was born, primarily to supply the 60's Cafe Racer / Rod equipment.

It seemed currently relevant to resurrect the idea, so we updated the artwork but lept the original slogan.

In the not too distant future that logo will encompass a range of 60's Cafe Racer equipment, merchandise and artwork.

I've been doing small runs of decals, patches, Tees etc. over the past 20 years for my pals who are still into the era, but as the demand has grown, I've had to look at larger runs - that's where we are now. First batch of new patches for DTT/UK and Cafe-Moto should be with me in the next week. After that I can start sending out decals / patches to those who have already asked for them.
As soon as the patches have landed and I have the final costs for shipping, duty, vat, etc. I can work out a price.

Only new on here abd about to start my first build, but I would like to stick my hand up for 1 of each, thanks

Headsup - the parcel arrived in the UK today and I should have delivery tomorrow [ 5th Jan ].

I hope to have all the costs - import, vat, etc. by Friday latest, so will post up the prices for deliveries to begin next week.

The patch samples are stunning and will compliment the decals perfectly.

Tim,
the Cafe-Moto website has been sitting on my pc for 3 years now! Initially I was specifically looking at Airhead BMW stuff, but then someone came along and did just that [ FlatRacer].
The "site" has gradually been morphing back and forth ever since.
Now because of my recent involvement with RAM developing Cafe Racer parts and my lifelong association with Cafe Racers, I decided to resurrect the old Cafe-Moto brand with some genuine 60's stuff [ or 60's inspired ] for those builders who wanted to go down that route. I still have all my personal projects, which has kept my enthusiasm up for the CR scene.

Add in John Hancox art, period advertising posters, and now my involvement with the DTT / UK - best get my finger out and finalise the site !

Finally I had a well respected top US Cafe Racer company [ of this parish ] approach me with a view to handling the RAM and other products in the US - announcement of that partnership is imminent.

The Tee shirts an mugs idea came about purely from enquiries from people who wanted decals / patches. Again, my pal John Hancox has come up trumps with the printer who does his own Hancox Art products. The same guy advertises Classic Bike and racing mugs in the UK mags.

The shirts will be white print on Black shirt with a large Cafe Moto logo on the back, and either a smaller one on the front, or just the slogan "we're not going back to the 60's ....etc."

Because the design is not blatantly a company ad. and the slogan is the important part - people seem to like it for what it is.

I'm also going to enquire about DTT / UK shirts, but lack of decent volume may push the price too high - we'll see.
