uni pod filters with bent rubber tubing?

does anyone know of air filter pods with bent rubber tubes so it clears a battery box?

I have a buddy that runs them and he loves them for tuning!

They have them at denniskirk.com. Usually they are only angled 10-20 degrees but you might be able to fit some plumbing pipes that have 90 degree bends on the carbs.

Oh yeah, K+N has all kinds of crazy stuff on their site.

I don't know who else has them (JCWhitney for sure, maybe denniskirk) but there are some uni filters that have big springs inside of them. Those suckers will clear anything!

I got the uni’s with the straight flange. the spring inside will form around the battery but it looks a little weird. i’m gonna try the k&n’s, just wondering how it will look with filters angled out.
