Unique fiberglass cafe tank

Been Around the Block
Bought the tank a while back thinking I would use it on my 360. Well plans have changed and I need the funds to put towards other thing so here it is back forsale. I dont know much about it, it's in pretty good shape...just one piece cracked at the front of the tank but does not effect it and could pe repaired pretty easy. Asking 250obo plus shipping. The pic is of it on my 360, it can come down in the front if wire harness was redirected/cleans up a little.

Possibly, not really looking for anything specific though...

Haha... Kind of makes working out a trade deal difficult. Think about it a touch, and if you can come up with some things you need let me know. I have a TON of stuff I'd be happy to part with. Haha. Where are you located? I have a running cl360 motor Id swap...

I don't suppose it would fit a DOHC CB750F, or even a KZ440ltd for that matter? If it fit the DOHC, I'd be interested. But it's got a tight tunnel, doesn't it? (Usually I think of that as a GOOD feature nyuck nyuck) I'm more on the market for aluminum, but that's a pretty cool tank!

Yeah I started having second thoughts after I took it off my shelf to take pics! But I will most likely never use it...oh and it comes with the petcocks also just not in the pics.

Any way you could come down in price? I think that tank would be great but a junkyard tank that i modify is a lot cheaper

I'm somewhat flexible on the price, but no lowball offers. I don't really need to sell the tank...I just thought someone might be able to use it since I prolly never will.

For what it's worth... I found the original Tracy catalogue with that tank in it. Part number "T122 Hon", made for the SOHC Honda CB750. Send me your email and I'll forward you the PDF.

Hell of a collector's item. You should offer to sell it to "Carpy", as he's always into that type of retro period-correct equipment. You should look around to see what other identical tanks have sold for in the past, too. Antiques road-show type of people could probably help you! Ha ha. Just stay away from the "pickers" and "flippers" who are out to rip you off.

-Sigh.

I sold that tank to bobbed out :)
No way it is for a cb750- single backbone only
came with an rd350 I restored as some extras-
