Universal - Adjustable Rearset - more pictures and discount option

Hey Viet,

Is the price for CB450 rearsets still 110 shipped?

Do you have any pictures with your rear sets mounted on a CB450?

Thanks,

Logan

Dear DukeN,
Sorry for late reply. I am a bit busy making the rear set for XS650 special and CB750 DOHC.
Thanks

Hi Viet,

Sorry for not following up on my earlier enquiry, but i have been sidetracked with some other projects lately. Regardless, I saw this comment, and wanted to see whether you have created a kit for the XS 650 yet, for a rear disc brake version (1979, in my case)?
Thanks again!

Hi,
I have this kit complete bolt on.
Let me know if you want. Price is 145 shipped as the weight of bracket set.
Thanks

I just received my rear sets a couple days ago. My first impressions are good, they look to be quality pieces, I like the price and the shipping was very fast. I wont be able to fit them to my bike for a while, so I can't say anything about actual fit quality until then, but judging by looks alone, they look like they will fit just fine.

Hi Viet,

I'm itching to pull the trigger on a set of your rearsets, but I'm unsure if you have a set that comes with linkages that require little to no modifying to fit on a CM400. I plan on putting them where the passenger pegs were and the stock mufflers won't be an issue as I'm replacing them with something much smaller. Could you please let me know what my options are before my wife finds out what I'm doing

Hi,
If you measure the distance from your rear foot peg mounting hole to the gear shift shaft and send me a clear photo of your gear shift shaft. Then i could make 1 for you.
Thanks for interest.

Hi viet,

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Universal-Cafe-Racer-Rear-set-with-out-bracket-/251264014107?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a8080971b&vxp=mtr

This is your posting right? I have a question about the frame. the part of the frame i want to mount it to is about 19 mm. is there any way the mounting bracket will fit that? also would it just be easier that i just give you a picture of my frame so that you can just build me a custom one?

Thanks

Hi,
I believe 19 mm pipe is a bit weak to mount it but should based on the structure it is. So please send me a photo and your bike model. That would help.
Yeah, it is my ebay item
Many thanks

Hi viet,

Here are some pictures of my frame. I couldn't get the distance between the pedal and clutch because the engine is off. That's something I can work out with the linkage.

Hi,
In my point, it is much easy if you cut off the stock bracket except the triangle that hold the brake shaft. Measure the diameter of brake shaft and the main frame pipe where new bracket will be mounted to.
I believe you have here is an Yamaha.
Then i could send you a set that should require very small modification but making your bike clean and help you select the best riding position.
Let me know

I have a 1978 Suzuki gs550. I will post the dimensions once I get home from work.

Will this be enough?

Hi foebux,
It is a bit hard as i do not have the 18 mm spline shaft.
What i can do is a set with rod brake connecting to the rear wheel brake lever, a complete gear shift rod with lever to attach to the gear shift shaft and a set of rear set with bracket.
The total price is 150 shipped ( shipping cost is approx 55) for this set.
With my things, you just need to cut the foot rest bracket pipes and mount it to your bike.
The gear shift rod length would be a problem but i will send you a best estimation. Most of bikes, it is 33 mm
Thanks

Hi viet,
Will you be able to draw me a diagram of what your talking about? I read it over again but still not getting an accurate picture I my mind.

Viet,

Since this will be mounted using your frame bracket, can I grind off my passenger peg brackets?
