Universal - Adjustable Rearset - more pictures and discount option

Hi Davis,
That spring is only to keep the brake parallel and balance with the pull back force of the rear brake cam lever. The rear set could be adjusted by turning the pulling angle so you could press it less or more. Try uninstall the circlips and pull out the lever then put it back to the angle you want. If you have a personal email, I could send you a guiding on this.

Hi so i had inquired about a set of rear sets for a 1979 cb750k and was told they would mount to where the old passenger foot peg, unfortunately the Previous owner decided to cut those off...any way they could attach other wise?

If the stock brackets are cut off, I could make a set of bracket which is clamped to the frame. most set up is unchanged except the bracket.
Thanks for inquiry

Greetings. These look sweet. I should be able to adapt to my CB125 project. I am in California. What would a set cost and what about rods
Your bike look great.
I could make a set with clamp on bracket set + rear set + gear lever +brake rod and a gear shift rod with adjustable length and all linkages needed.
The rear set will cost 150 shipped to US on my ebay store but will be 140 for DTT member.
pm me your paypal address so I will send an invoice if you are ok with that order.
Thanks
Viet

Hey Viet,

These look great... I'm in the early stages of working on a CB160 and I searched through the thread to see if someone has asked about that yet, but it doesn't look like it... so please forgive me if I missed it... But I was curious if you make a set that works with a 65/66 Honda CB160?

Thanks

James

Hello Viet, I purchased a set from you months bad, but only recently been able to get to that part of my project. It was for a cb450 and the connecting rod for the shifting side you sent me is way too long. Is there any way I can get a shorter one? The peg hole to the shifting arm shaft is 13.25 inches while the rod I received was 15 inches.

Let me know

Hi,
Iam taking the order for suzuki GS series. Just finished the brake lever for these bike, it is quite identical brake shaft and it really take time to make.
Could you please measure the distance from rear passenger peg mounting hole ( left side) to the gear shaft and the right hole to the brake shaft.
The set up will including clamp on bracket, rear set, brake lever and gear lever with all rods and linkage.
Price is 145 shipped to the US. Please pm me your paypal if you need one
Thanks

Let me start with stating that I got these rear sets a year ago for my 73 CL350 and I am loving them. Viet has an excellent product going. The only thing that is still troublesome is that I cannot use the stock kickstarter as it hits the rear set peg. I can obv still start the bike using the ez button. However, I like to still ahve the ability to use the kickstarter.

I have been reviewing this thread and there were multiple options posted on other year/model kickstarters that can be used that will clear the peg when kicking. I would like to confirm with the community what will work (ie clear the peg and have the correct spline #) with my year/model bike based on experiences..... the options that I have seen thrown around are CB450k (year unsure), CB500T (year unsure), and CL360 (year unsure)..... has anyone used any of these kickstarters and can confirm the year of the model that works for them.

I appreciate any help!
Thanks,
sac

@ Woolsac,

This. Is the kickstarter that I used on my CB350. It is from a CB450,

Thanks

I purchased the bolt on CB350 rearset kit from Viet and they are very nice! Shipped to my house in California in 3 or 4 days! I had a tiny problem with the threads on one of the toe pegs being cut funny and he sent me a new peg no problem. Solid product and seller.

Hey veit earlier I asked you about a pair of rearsets for a 1979 cb750k. You said they Mount to the passenger peg location however my bracket it gone. Would you be able to mount them to the attached bike? If so where and how.
