You'll get that joke later.

But at least the fenders are painted to match the rest of the tins. And be wary of putting really low bars on with the stock tank - they will hit. For such a small capacity tank, they made it wide as hell.

Just noticed - your rear turn signal mounts aren't stock either (at least not in the USA).

Welcome to DTT. Can't believe you own a Tempter as Big Rich there was thought to own all of them. I think he has about 40 GRs at this point. He's not just the president of the Tempter fan club, he's also a member. The guy knows those bikes so well, Suzuki flew him to Japan to oversee the restoration of the one in their museum. His sons middle name is Suzuki, no bullshit. One time I was with him and we saw a Tempter in a junk yard. Looked like it had been stored in a tank if salt water for a decade then dried out by covering it in kerosene and lighting a match. He stopped dead in his tracks, shed one single tear and walked over to the rusted hulk of a bike. He spoke some kind of magic language learned from the ghost of Mr Suzuki while on a solo pilgrimage to the peak of mount Fuji and BAM... Right before my eyes the bike floated up three feet into the air and in a flash of blinding light was returned to it's original glory. The bike slowly returned to terra firma, fired up with a growl and Rich rode away on it at about 200mph. It was crazy.

;D Welcome to DTT

Ah,the legendary Big Rich....I thought you were a myth, like Nessie and affordable health care! My feeble attempts at customizing will pale by comparison to your multiple gressurections, but the tracker bars are on,the seat is redone and the mini lights arrived today. Next up,mounting the signals to the bucket and up by the rear of the seat-former location of the 'oh shit' bar. Whats a good fit for a shorter rear fender, as I cant bring myself to cut into that beautiful gold flake orange?

Do you have the brackets to move the rear signals? If not, I do.

As far as the rear fender goes, you have a couple options. I used a Harley Fat Bob (?) fender before (the one that has the duck tail end on it), and I've used a universal plastic fender for a dirt bike as well.

My plan was to utilise the holes left behind when I remove the oh shit bar...going to need to drill- just a skinch to small
Bad pic but you know what I mean. Havent decided on a brake light yet,but Id love just a solo round mounted right to the seat if I can figure it out.

Drewfinn iiiiif that is your real name. big rich is by appointment only for his own safety. there is a wild gang of layed off suzuki techs that put a anywhere anytime contract out on him. The poor guy cant even talk in public with out covering his mouth with a news paper out of fear of lip readers. the simple fact that he snuck by his protection detail to post on your thread is mind blowing.

rich of you can read this good luck brother......i know your intentions are good but i also know those fucking wild suzuki techs see you as a threat and will stop at nothing

This is the dream....

Currently it gotta be all easy, inexpensive, mostly cosmetic upgrades...or as I call it,strictly ghetto. Ride it til the snow flies and get really dirty while it drifts against the garage door!
