Using GL1000 rim with a cb750 hub

As the title suggests, I'm thinking of using a DID rim from a gold wing and mounting it on a cb750 hub. I'm curious if anyone here has done this, and if they ran into troubles with spokes or other.

So long as your CB rim is the same diameter I think you should be fine. I've got two 18" DIDs from GLs to go on my 500T.
My front rim is 19" so I'm going to need new spokes.

Just do a straight swap, front end w. forks, calipers and everything...
Done... now you have no more issues + dual front disk set up...
Now you just have to worry about the rear...ARe you planning to put a disk brake set up to go with your Aluminum rims?
