V6 Maserati

This is my long running Maserati build, at times I get bored with it and have to knock out a quick build to prove to myself I can actually finish a bike, hence the Retro Imola I'm doing now.

Man - that's some serious dedication! Beautiful work. Have you started this engine with the kick starter? Seems like it would be something of a challenge!

I had a 2.5 Alfa on a kicker, although it was heavy to kick it was better than my old 350 Ducati that would lock, I'm hoping the Maserati will be easier because the compression is lower than the Alfa.

Thanks guys for the kind words, I know it's not a true cafe racer and will probably weigh about 750 pounds but it's been fun building it.

Ha. Considering a GL1800 weighs in at 900lb plus, I'd say you have the weight covered. This is some very cool engineering.

There are lots of big tourers that weigh more than 750 lbs. Your bike really will be much more than just an engineering tour de force, it will be a really nice motorcycle as well. Love it.
