Alright! My name's Jesse, I live at sproat lake, Vancouver island. I recently picked up 4 bike projects, and 4 extra frames, gas tanks, seats, tons of exhausts, bars, lights, chains, signals, just about everything out of this old mechanic's garage.... My dream is a kick-ass cafe racer in the next couple months. The bike I chose out of the 4 was a 1982 Yamaha XS400, all I know about it is, well, that that's what it is, and that I need the pieces that connect the upper frame tube to the cylinder head, before I can ride it at all... Anybody know where to get those?

Oh and the forum looks awesome.

And my other ride is a modded out 2006 nissan Xterra, you can find it currently on the front page at "thenewX.org"

Barkingmadspeedshop. He's in Victoria and has everything you need.

I'm in Duncan myself, I'm into little bikes myself. 400 and under.

Wicked man thanks. A great reason to have a bike out here is it just cost me 320 bucks to go to van and back to pick the things up. ferries are getting nuts..

Trailers on the ferry are a NO NO. But since you are a local, as is myself, welcome. The Ferries are gonna be extinct soon if they keep this up. If you think the ferries are bad wait till yes start shipping parts to yourself. The postal system is there cousin!
Craigslist in Van has decent deals sometimes and more importantly some cool parts! Start cutting! 8)
