Vectorize tank photos for sketching?

kraptastic k

ask me how i got here
Hello all,

Does anyone know of a way that I could take photos of my tank from different angles, then print those shots in a black and white outline, i.e. vector style?

I am looking for software or possibly a free online service that could convert these. It would be nice to have a few sheets of sketch paper for different jobs that I could practice some concepts on/copy and fax easily.

Thanks all.

This is an example, but I would like to use my own photos.

I know... I could also do it by hand, then scan it once. But I really want to be able to do it quickly and with many different tanks.

Laziness or innovation? :)

theres a "create line drawing" script in most photo editors. Photoshop, gimp, etc

Ahh, gimp will be an easy tool to use for this, didn't know it had a feature for it. Good shooting will be of the essence now.

Look for "raster to vector" software... There are a few free downloads out there to try.
