Velocity Stacks. Looks, or ???

I think Velocity Stacks look cool. But, is that all they are good for? I read here that they are primarily for air flow improvement. But, I also know that a huge gaping hole sucking in air, bugs, dirt, water, rocks, diamond rings, small monkeys, etc can't be good for the motor.

So, WTH. Just for show? Race day only?

I think I will stick with my ugly arse foamies for now, they do a pretty good job.

But darnit, those stacks look good JRK.

i agree, when my stacks get here they will get screened asap, velocity stacks look dead sexy too

stay away from small monkeys or any money whilst riding too, not only can they get sucked up in an unscreened velocity stack but they fling poop too and that can get sucked into the stacks ;D

Not sure where you been riding griff. I get lots of random stuff tossed around from my tires. These filthy streets are loaded with dirt, salt, car parts, kids toys, peoples dreams (a real bitch to get off of your pants) etc.

Maybe the snow will melt soon, and we can ride again. Not likely, but you never know.

Gotta scrub some rust off your ride though, it's looking rough today.
