I can't really say just how impressed I am with Zeke's and your progress. To think this all started with Zeke wanting to know a little bit about motorcycles and how they work. WOW is the best word and very inadequate

Thanks guys here is my wife's video of runs 3 and 4. Run 3 was Eric @ 98 mph and run 4 was Ben at 99 mph and Ben's excellent feedback at the end. On runs 1 and 2 they both shifted into 5th using a 10.5k redline but for runs 3 and 4 and we told them 12k was the redline... they upped the redline to 12k and for runs 3 and 4 and it sounds like they stayed in 4th http://youtu.be/BhCAOBTbGvQ

I would think Go-Pro on helmet was worth more than 1 mph?
Get the right angle of attack on fairing and have it rigidly mounted and you should be seeing over 'the ton'
Your moving in fast company, makes the Bostrom's look like normal people 8)

Ben told us if the fairing was rigid and the shifter fixed he would do an easy 105...don't tell Ben and Eric but Mr. Schwantz told me that he knew a rider that could do the Ton on it ;) with w big Texas smile on his face.

He was thinking that maybe a shorter rider might fit the bike a little better perhaps?

I think he was intrigued with the Dustbin because we told him John Surtees had raced the NSU Sportmax in the 50's. He had just finished spending time with Mr. Surtees. Victoria has the same wheel base as the NSU Sportmax.

There was a little magic in his eye...knowing he could take on the youngin's. A good old Texas showdown. He was there to ride Revival Cycles Ducati.

wow what a a tremendous feat of, well, all the above
i think we are all trying to express how impressive it is but the keyboard ain't gonna do it
it looks like the fairing could come up a bit and the fairing itself with some x bracing should be more rigid along with a few more mounts
i think with dedicated air ducts venting right on the head and upper barrel the temp will be well controlled

Ok the second run of the day and Ben took over. Ben told us he was only revving to 10.5k for this run and after he pitted we told him to rev it to 12k and we were ok with making a sacrifice just as long as he didn't get hurt. He told us later that he said it doesn't hurt to crash that much at a 100mph. He also told us one of the tricks with tall gears is to rev it 500 rpms past the redline to keep the rev's up and you could hear him doing so later in run 4. http://youtu.be/Bfi8ZvX5jR4

What is impressive is how y'all's keyboard strokes translated into these moments. We are very grateful for being turned down by our local community college to lead us to Dotheton.com . We were saving our dotheton sticker for when we got to the ton to put it on Victoria on camera. Zeke keeps arguing with me that we got there. I told him it was an accomplishment but it wasn't there. I said, "Son you did the ton minus one." Now we need to become better and learn chassis set up.

Kop told me to go with 15/35 gearing but our 15 didn't get here until an hour before we left. We had to wire the van for a rental trailer and when we opened the sprocket it need to be dremeled to fit. The dremel then burned up and I had to finish it with a hand file. We left 3 hours late.

"We came to kick ass"

Reminds me of Al Lamb's Ruckus. Have you seen that thing?
