Here is a goofy one to get it going. My first trip out into Ohio to the Fuel Cleveland show was a few years ago. I had zero knowlege of the area, and still dont use a cell phone, just write down an address, study the map and I'm off. Friday night I packed a bag, kissed the wife and split. Riding out route 5 along the lake was great. When I reached Cleveland I pulled the scrap of paper I scrolled the pre party's address on and hit Hooples bar. Had a beer but it was Super busy, and having no hotel I wound back to where the show would be the next day, near 55th and St Clair. I found a nice telephone pole and spent the night in a hammock, with the machete clutched tightly to ward off any whackos. Long story short it was a super fun experience going somewhere new with no plan and just winging it. I go back every year since, but now have a sofa reserved in Skidmark Garages lounge. Each year it is a great time and people are awesome. I really had to laugh when I watched the Lowbrow Customs video recap and there was a pic of me sleeping in the hammock. I knew I heard a click...glad there was no boom to follow.
