well got it 90% done last night.... the new bars the grip section was 1 inch short after the controls and clamps where installed on there so I had to come up with something. the owner also wanted mirrors later down the road added so I sped that up and figured out how to kill 2 birds with one stone. so i got some 1in round stock and cut that down to 1 inch, then i found center and drilled that out, got a counter sunk screw, and cut some rubber oil line and a lock washer, fed the spacer into the bottom of the grip, ran the bar end mirror though the end of the grip, though the hole in the spacer, dropped the rubber hose on it and started the lock nut, put the grip on and ensured that the rubber went into the bar end, tighened it all down and it expanded to not only hold the bar end spacer, but also holds on the mirror, worked perfect! took a bit of time to figure it out but I essentually made a internal bar end, worked awesome

wired up all the bars, cut and soldered in the extensions, why they run 12 wires on one side of the bar, and 4 on the other is beyond me! however, got it all done, got to get in there and bleed the brakes and she is done., for now... he is bringing it back this winter for a ton of powder and paint work... but that will all come later.
