Been Around the Block
A retired gentleman was hired at Wal-Mart and quickly became one of the most valuable employees with one exception. He was late every day by 5, 10 sometimes even 15 minutes.
Realizing this couldn’t go on the Supervisor reluctantly called the old boy to the office.
“Mr. Jackson, I realize that you retired from the Navy and I’m sure that there you had a time that you were supposed to be at work each day. What did the Officers say to you when you came to work late in the Navy?”
The old boy smiled and said “Well, generally they said Good morning Admiral! Can I get you a cup of coffee?”
