Want to learn: Chautauqua area

I'm 18 and the new owner of a '78 GS750. I don't know very much about motorcycle mechanics, but I'm very interested and really want to learn. Maybe even to the point where I could consider it as a job possibility in the future. But at least enough to do work on my own bike(s).

Does anybody know of any people/places where I could gain the knowledge and experience. I live in Jamestown, NY. The Chautauqua area. Roughly a couple hours south of Buffalo and roughly three hours north of Pittsburgh.

Any info. would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Too bad you are 4hrs away, I am always up to folks hanging out in my garage and helping/learning. Maybe the NY forum will have folks close to Butfalo?

Hopefully. One guy mentioned that he's in Erie, but that's all I ever heard.
