Put some metal in yer eye....
I didn't go w/ the jap sun thing. I saw a cb done w/ that scheme, and the guy did a bitchen job. And since I'm no Painter. I figured I'd go w/ something more classic and traditional, black. Anyway, got a few other things accomplished too. Finished some Tach bracket, wirless bicycle speedo (and thermometer, haha) and some misc. shit.

So, what do ya think

I really like this bike the tank and the seat with the lower fairing and all that makes the bike look fast just standing still, I love the lines and angles on it.
 
bitchin... do you think having the racing stripe off to the side might make it run crooked? I mean... if the right side is going faster than the left... then i could maybe see that being a probem

looks awesome, mine is pretty close to yours, love the checkers. i am going to put them on mine but down the center.
also like the way the lowwer pan looks on the bike. might get one for mine, will see because i am running the dual exh,
with up pipes.
any way love the way it has turned out. keep me posted even on the racing, i want to do the same here in ontario.

Haha... I hadn't considered that actually. Always something... Maybe it'll only go in a circle?
 
that is really cool. different style. i like it. ive been thinking of doing the original two tone like your before shot, but the black looks so good on yours. sleek. well done
 
ohh. what's the bellypan from? haven't seen that done before, at least on a street bike

It's for made for the small cb's 160/175. From GFTP.

LL- I sold my 6 yr old to the devil. haha.... No, I just notched it around the bracket. Pretty simple really.
 
What kind of paint did you use for the black? Is it duplicolour? I'm about to do mine...as soon as it warms up a bit.

Also, can you go over the checkers with some more black? ;)
