Got the carbs off last night, i forgot to get sawzall blades but i did get the bars and controls off. i took some photos on my camera this time. Should have them loaded up in a bit. Its un real the amount of wiring on this thing. I feel a little overwhelmed but i figure i should try on this bike since i got it for free, rather than something the purists will hate me for lol.

Also looking into ordering an ultrasonic cleaner today.. so tempting....

Well i just ordered the cleaner so thats on the way, i forgot to post earlier but i am thinking about building a back bone on the frame and getting rid of the split for the intake boot. I have this idea of using the back bone as the intake and running the air cleaner off the frame and having boots to the carbs. It makes sense in the brain just have to see how big the boot is when it comes in.

It's time to pull the carbs apart and clean them. I have the two screws out that hold them together but I'm confused as to how to split the linkage? Anyone have a suggestion?
