Alright, so the other day (almost 2 weeks ago) I bought this carburetor on Ebay for Gretta. I am downsizing from VM34s to VM30s for performance gains. I already got one VM30, so I found this good deal on another one and won it.

Well 2 weeks have passed and almost gone, no reply. So tonight for shits and giggles I did a search for VM30s to try and find another one for really cheap. Well I come across this ad. Same pictures, same item description, same city for the seller, different user names. I am so damned pissed. This dude is seeing how much he can get for an item, and if it doesn't sell for the price he wants, he re-lists it on another user name to see if it gets a higher bid. There has to be a policy against this. You'd better believe that BOTH user names are getting reported.

My SO is shopping for a Jeep Grand Cherokee. She found an add in Auto Trader. The add goes along the lines of fully loaded Jeep low miles for sale dirt cheep. She inquired, the reply she received went as following "I'm in the Canadian Military Improving relations with the US and Italian Govt'... in Italy and selling my Jeep, bla bla send the money to Pay Pal, The Jeep will be delivered to you for your approval. bla bla"

She replied that I am in the military and asked where this clown was posted from. He told us and its not too far away but we cant go our selves to see the Jeep in person because its locked up...

To top it all off the email address is in a VERY similar to what my work address looks like but it ends in hotmail.com...

I'm calling the MP's tomorrow.
 
I hate fuggin crooks man. That crap just pisses me off even more BR. I wish that Ebay was as cool as it could be.
 
So have you gotten your money back? I don't even know what to say about this. I hate being stole from. I have literally had everything but my truck and a sack full of clothes stolen from me. I literally had a truck and a sack of clothes to my name. So I feel your pain. That was just a couple of years ago. I'm sorry to hear of your situation but at least you have a leg to stand on. I don't understand how this guy expected to get away with this. i mean the bike only has one carb. good luck and let us know how it goes. Ah I just looked again hes from cali that explains alot.

Oh yeah, it could definitely be worse man. I can get another carb. Honestly, my first thought after reporting him was to warn you guys. He sells lots of bike parts, so maybe if they don't banish him to non-seller hell then at least you guys have a heads up on him. It's a blatant eff up on his part man. He didn't even change the selling picture. I didn't even notice the duplicate ad until tonight because I was thinking to myself "if I don't get this one, I need to find another one".

That sucks Thompson. I have been robbed before as well, but not to that extent. Glad you're back on your feet brother. You guys keep your eyes peeled. People will fuck you in a heartbeat!
 
If you call up paypal they are usually pretty willing to settle things, I've been refunded and over compensated for mysterious charges that came up on my account. They were pretty good about it. Especially if you see the same guy selling the same item. If they are able to access and find the two accounts to one paypal or something of that nature that guy would effectively be screwed. And for the best, who double crosses like that?

WOW those two users have the worst ratings I've ever seen! it's hard to find a seller with less than a 99% positive rating let alone in the 80 something %. i like how he just changed the size of the font too. CLASSIC! hope no one gets burned by this guy in the future.
 
Damn just read that guys feedback and he does this all the time. There was at least 5 or six in his first profile. And it has been going on for a long time. I cant believe he has gotten thrown in ebay jail yet
