Love my Willys

:D : I would post pics of my K5 Cheyenne Blazer, but it rusted out before I could snap a pic! The cancer spread unbelievably fast in the three years I owned it. It was a good party truck though and had an obnoxiously loud Pioneer system in it. I used to unbolt the rear seat and set it out on the ground. That way, I doubled the party potential of my vehicle! ;) Honestly, I never thought of photographing it when I was a kid. I sold it to some dude that turned it into a monster truck and burned it up. Really, it died in a great ball of flame! That thing had a 30 gallon tank and sucked gas like you wouldn't believe. I guess those big ole Rochester carbs were thirsty things. Full time 4wd didn't help mileage either. I think I'm done with Chevy's...

ah cool, just noticed the 4wheelin thread...

i'll just mix it up a little and throw in my land cruiser

I dont have any pics handy right now but me and a buddy threw a 4 inch lift on his YJ. Then took it up to Yankee Lake in Ohio and tried to bury it in the mud. Ill get some pics of that later today

For anybody in western PA/Eastern Ohio (and pretty much anybody who has ever ordered from them) I found some pics I took a couple months ago of 4WD Hardware in Columbiana. These guys absolutely LOVE Jeeps and will help any way they can with problems. Just a couple shots of their showroom:

For anybody that's interested/in need, Kentrol started making all kinds of fiberglass for TJ Wranglers. Tubs, hoods, fenders, the works. Almost $4k for a tub though. Maybe I'll see if RocCity is getting into the Jeep market....

Ive always wanted a jeep. Never got one, but have been out to 4WheelDrive a few times with my cousin for his 50 Willys. That place is so cool. If you HATED jeeps before you walked in, youll be searching for one of your own after you leave.

Heres a few pics of when we pulled the body off the Willys. He had been driving it around for two years before he got the bug in his ass to start fixing it up. When I got to his house to help, he informed me that only 2 of the bolts holding the body to the frame were still there. Hes lucky... Even though top speed is only about 50 mph, he couldve gotten fucked up. Its a cool little beater though. It belonged to a family friend whos dad bought it new. It sat in a barn for years until my cuz was in high school and asked how much they wanted for it. In the end he spent a summer clearing brush, and cutting firewood for them, and he got the Willys. Good deal if ya ask me.

I noticed that but wasn't gonna say anything :D. Figured you gotta be tired.

Those Willy's rock! We saw one up at Yankee Lake in Ohio going through all kinds of mud pits and everything else. No noticeable lift, no huge tires, just a classic Jeep plowin through the goop. Oh, and the steering wheel was so close to the driver's chest that I think it might have been holding him in.

Here's the link for Yankee Lake. Kinda long drive from here but it's a blast to go to

I think hes gone out there. That Willys is un-fuckin-stoppable. Seriously. It will run through anything...
