what are these off of??

i got these forks with a bike i just bought. I have no front wheel and was wondering if anyone knows what they are off of? 35mm, i think pre 80s

the bike is a bsa 650. i am changing it over to disc. i seem to think it is a cb as well. but not sure.

Looks like a cb550 to me

Not CB550. I have two CB550s. This is off a CB450. Here's a guy on eBay selling the same triple clamps.

Maybe my eyes are bad, but the ebay listing does NOT match what the OP listed. For instance, the lower triple clamp bolts on the listing are facing the rear, while the OP picture has them in the front.

The Ebay listing has small holes for the fork tubes on the upper clamp, the OP pic has full size holes.

The gauge mounting holes are in different locations.

The listing has the upper triple center clamp bolt, the OP's does not....

Other than both being triple clamps, the listing doesn't look at all like the OP's set.

Okay, you're right. It was late when I dialed this up and tried to help and I didn't notice the details so I'll go back to my original comment and say they're not CB550. At least I was trying to help out. Now do either of you smartasses want to tell us what they are from?

I may have the year wrong, but it's definitely CB450.

That fiche matches in form at least....You are probably right....I never trust E-Bay descriptions. Someone was selling oil filters (spin-on) for my CB360 on it....They get it wrong often....

All the bits look identical to the pieces laying on the bench off my K5 CB450
I can post pics for comparison... even take measurements if you want to verify
