What are these

I know most of the bikes on DTT are Honda I'm hoping there is someone who might be able to help me with my KZ440 question. I'm disassembling my engine and found these washers in the crankcase. They're shim of some sort but so far nothing seems out of sorts.

Just a stab in the dark here, but maybe the spacers that go on the balancer shaft sprockets?

Which side were they on? Or were they in the sump? The look to me like shims on the kickstart mechanism or a shim between the shift lever and case.
